Prof. Dr. József Poór, president of the HSZOSZ, is a habilitated and appointed Professor Emeritus at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) and Selye János University (Slovakia), where he teaches international management, human resource management, international human resource management, and management consulting subjects in Hungarian and foreign languages. Head of department and regular member of the doctoral school at both universities. As a guest teacher, he taught international management, human resource management and international human resource management subjects for thirteen semesters at the business faculties of American universities (Honolulu, Louisville, Richmond, Saginow and Cleveland) and as a guest teacher at European ones (Arnhem, Bergen, Brno, Bucharest, Frankfurt am Main, Graz , Istanbul, Lyon, Moscow, Pitesti, Bratislava, Prague, Riga, etc.) at economic faculties. He regularly teaches at the Hungarian department of the Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj and at the Technical Faculty of the University of Novi Sad (Zrenjanin, Serbia). He worked for three internationally known consulting firms (HayGroup, Mercer and Diebold) as managing director and senior consultant for nearly two decades. He has published more than seven hundred and fifty publications in Hungarian and foreign languages (English, German, Romanian and Slovak).
