Dr. Md. Sohel Rana

Assistant Professor, College of Business Administration, IUBAT—International University of Business Agriculture and Technology, Bangladesh

Dr. Md. Sohel Rana is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the College of Business Administration in IUBAT-International University of Business Agriculture and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He was awarded the Ph.D. from the University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia. Prior to that, Dr. Rana obtained MBA and BBA degrees from the University of Rajshahi (RU). His area of teaching includes Principles of Management, Strategic Management, Organizational Behaviour, Total Quality Management, Human Resources Management, Financial Management, Introduction to Business and other courses related to business curriculum. Dr. Md. Sohel Rana has published several research articles in the Web of Science, Scopus, and ABDC indexed journals. Beside journal articles, Dr. Rana has contributed to several book chapters in the books published by Springer Nature, IGI Global Publishers, Taylor & Francis, Routledge Sage. He has carried out his research in the field of microfinance, environmental economics, tourism and destination marketing, industrial relationships, poverty, and urban development etc. Dr. Rana also occasionally writes editorial opinion (Ed-op) in the national English newspaper. Lately, Dr. Rana has been working on research projects related to sustainable development, poverty, and industrial relationships. Dr. Rana has attended several national and international conferences as a paper presenter, participant and invited guest with full funding facility.

Dr. Md. Sohel Rana has five years of working experience as a Research Associate at the University of Malaya (UM) and University of Rajshahi (RU). He has also the collaborative research experience with prominent researchers around the world. He has successfully organized international conferences during his Ph.D. at the University of Malaya, Malaysia. Dr. Rana is always welcoming to any national and international research collaboration.
